We were also told to make a 5 minute recorded presentation of us explaining our slides and results.

04/05/20 - 25/05/20 (Week 4 - Week 7) Phoebe Ansel (0340165) Design Research Methodology Critical Review LECTURES Week 4: We were introduced to 'critical reviews' and here are the slides given to us: Week 5: We were introduced to 2 different research methods, which are qualitative and quantitative. INSTRUCTION CRITICAL REVIEW Week 5 I started working on my critical reviews and I really struggled with it in the beginning and took a really long time writing them. However, I slowly got the hang of it and managed to work more quickly. After receiving feedback, I decided to be more descriptive and specific in the reviews. Week 6-7 I finalized all my Critical Reviews this week, as I wanted to get them done on time. This is the final compilation of all my critical reviews:

25/05/20 - 29/06/20 (Week 7 - Week 12 ) Phoebe Ansel (0340165) Design Research Methodology Research Implementation LECTURES INSTRUCTION RESEARCH IMPLEMENTATION We were told to prepare two methods of primary research for our research problem.  I started planning the research methods I was going to use and decided on doing a survey and a visual analysis. I read previous researchers' work to figure out what questions I wanted to ask. This is the result of my first draft: After receiving feedback, I was told to think about the number of choices for my questions. I was told to think about the pros and cons of having 2 or more choices for the multiple questions. 13/04/20 - 04/05/20 (Week 1 - Week 4) Phoebe Ansel (0340165) Design Research Methodology Proposal LECTURES Week 1: For the first week of class, we were briefed on what is expected from this module. We were also given an introduction to research. Week 2: This week, we learned about creating a problem statement, research questions, and research objectives. INSTRUCTION PROPOSAL Week 1: Research Topic For the first week, we were told to choose our specialization, as our research will be based on it. I wasn't really sure of what I was going to choose but eventually narrowed it down between graphic design and new media. After putting some thought into it, I decided to choose new media as my specialization. Week 2: Research Problem After spending a lot of time researching about new media, I decided that visual reality was an interesting topic to focus on. However, I struggled to find a problem that I could do the research on, some were too complicated to do with...
