For our final project, we were told to imagine what the city would be like in the future, it could either be utopia or dystopia. We were told to build it and animate it as well. I have always imagined our world to be a dystopian city in the future, seeing how it is treated by humans today. So I decided to create an apocalyptic city, I wanted to show the city minutes away from the actual apocalypse. 

I decided to add a futuristic soldier to watch over my city, attempting to 'save' it from aliens and other attacks coming our way.

 I wanted aliens to be one of the factors in the apocalypse, so I decided to add a futuristic space ship.

One of the popular beliefs is that a blood moon will appear before the apocalypse, so I decided to add that into my composition as well.

I searched for buildings to use for my city as well. I also searched for a rooftop/building edge for the soldier to stand on.

I did a lot of coloring in photoshop as I wanted the city to look very dark and misty. I added a dark red to the buildings to add more colour and to differentiate it from the part of the city where the light may hit and added green to create a 'smog'. I think the colour green is a suitable colour to describe pollution and dirty fogs/mist. I then decided to make the edges darker to focus on the center of the image.

I then added lights to the horizon, to create a contrast, to show that the meteors, spaceships, etc, were still far away and has not reached where the soldier is standing. It also creates a 'portal like' effect where the spaceship will seemingly enter from.

I then added meteors and bolts of lightning using a brush I downloaded online.

We were then told to animate our image in after effects. I decided to animate the meteors and flashes of lightning, and the spaceship as well.

REFLECTIVE REPORT As this semester is my final semester, it was compulsory for me to attend  6 workshops or webinars during Professional Development Week. All the webinars I attended were very insightful and meaningful, and I learned a lot from them. Here are some of my key takeaways. I joined 3 different webinars on the first day, the first workshop I attended was the " Financial Literacy for Fresh Graduates " workshop by Maybank. This webinar taught me so much, including the budgeting rule, which states that individuals should split their money 50 percent on needs, 30 percent on wants, and 20 percent on financial goals. Furthermore, adhering to a budget plan is critical for tracking spending prior to generating the budget. Maybank also assisted me in gaining a better understanding of some of the elements. We were tasked to create a mobile app for the business school. They wanted to create a virtual fitting room app that would allow users to see how the clothes would fit them virtually so that wouldn't have to try them on. We were first divided into 2 groups to work on the user flow, user journey, and wireframe.  We did our work on miro: We then had a meeting with the business school students and made changes after receiving feedback from them. TYPOGRAPHY - FINAL PROJECT

We had to bring a 5-7 foot long stick, a A2 size cardboard, some markers or paint, newspaper, and chinese ink.
