INSTRUCTIONS

Final Project

For our final project, we were asked to find a partner. Our partner will be our 'client' and we will be designing a website for them. For this project, I partnered with Jessica Tjhai and I will be creating a personal website for her. Before designing the website's layout, we both presented our ideas to Mr Shamshul.

This is our presentation slide:

After presenting our idea, we started working on designing the layouts, we often checked and showed our progress with each other to make sure we achieve what we want.

After finalizing our designs, we both shared our content through google drive.

Then I immediately started the coding process on dreamweaver.

REFLECTIONS

Experience:
To be completely honest, I think I struggled with this module the most this semester. Everything was very new to me and I was very inexperienced with it. I struggled with a lot of the tasks and it took quite some time for me to finally get used to it. However, it was a great experience and I definitely learned a lot through the semester. Remembering how much I struggled with the exercises and now completing the final project, I think I improved and have understood it a lot better. I feel like I have so so much more room to improve and I am excited to learn more things in the future.

Observation:
During our first few weeks of class, I realized that a few of my classmates are actually very good at coding and are experienced in it. I was very surprised to see how 'advanced' and 'complicated' some of my classmate's works were for the exercises and projects. Looking at everyone's work has definitely inspired me to do better and work harder.

Finding:
In the beginning, I struggled a lot with the tasks and found the module incredibly stressful. I would always mess up the HTML and CSS codes. However, as we progress through the semester, and with a lot of practice, I slowly started to get the hang of it. I learned a lot through each exercise and task. Although the final project and second project were just a few weeks apart, I definitely felt more at ease doing the final project even though it was a lot more complicated. I found this module to be the best 'learning experience' I had this semester.
